The Civil Service Commission (CSC) today announced flexible working hours for government agencies during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the CSC announcement, the Ramadan working hours will be four and a half hours long. However each state department can choose one of the following start and end timings as either from 9:45 am to 2:15 pm or 10:15 am to 2:45 pm or 10:45 am to 3:15 pm.
Each government agency may choose the official working time from the above slots according to the circumstances and nature of the work, the statement said.
